I have to laugh about this one*********

Do you have any idea as to what Olympic Atheletic Competition this picture represents?

It is for the Trampoline Competition. If your thinking what I was thinking before I began this post....go ahead and laugh b/c it feels good to laugh about it.

I do want to make this clear that I truly support the gymnists as I believe that they are true atheletes. I am merely amused that there is a singular event competition for "The Trampoline".

If I had known that "The Trampoline" was an olympic event I would have tried out myself.

I mean how hard can it be to Jump on "The Trampoline"?

I imagine it's good to stretch before hand.

And there getting rid of Softball & Baseball? What? What?

I just had to get that out of my system one more time...I'm totally over it!

CoMe ON....NO OFFENSE TO THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE NOT ATHELETIC BUT IF ANYTHING WHY TAKE OUT SOFTBALL & bASEBALL?

hAVE ANY OF YOU EVER PLAYED bADMInToN? i HAVE AND I DON'T RECALL EVER BREAKING INTO A sweat! i'M A BIT UPSET ABOUT THIS.

Well I will definitely be rooting for TEAM USA's SOFTBALL/BASEBALL tEams....and of course if there happens to be a USA team fOR the Badminton competition I'll be rooting for them (but I wilL noT be WaTcHinG iT)

This little guy isn't so little anymore :)

He's growing so fast and getting cuter every day.

He enjoys grabbing our face (lips, nose, & cheeks)when we hold him and occasionally gets a fist full of hair.

Jonas Hunt's Baby Blessing

Our friends Patrick and Jennifer Hunt had their baby Jonas blessed a couple weeks ago. He is such a cutie pie! We were very happy to be able to make it and to have only gotten a warning when getting pulled over in Katy, TX (by the Texas State Trooper b/c we didn't have a front license plate)on our way to the church. (OOPSY)

Later we went to the Hunt's home for some good food and better company. Our friends Robby & Amber Whites were there as well with their little guy Zane who is a cutie pie also and the peacemaker out of the pack of three munchkins.

We met the Hunts and the Whites after we married and moved into a family ward.
It's nice to have friends that even if you move away they still find a way to stay in touch.

Happy Birthday to Me :)

Yesterday was my (Amanda's) birthday and it was probably one of the best birthdays I've ever had. I awoke Friday morning with Ryan's sweet voice singing me "Happy Birthday" with Breakfast in hand.


Now it wasn't just any breakfast he made. He cooked me Apple Pancakes (Yes that would be fresh red delicious apples)

Might I also add that the presentation was fantastic. The pancakes had sliced apples all around.

It was sooooooooo Yummy!!!

Okay I know what your thinking.....and yes Ryan is the VERY BEST!!! He is so very thoughtful. I am so grateful to be married to him. Even with the stress of studying for the Bar he found time to make my day special from morning to evening.

On with the story, after breakfast he again surprised me and this time with gifts. Can I not wake up from my dream, yet? I seriously wasn't expecting anything. Keedan got me some new running shoes and Ry gave me a gift card to Steve & Barry's. I was totally stoked to get some non-pregnancy clothes and had never heard of that store before but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, trendiness and price of the clothes there.


Later that evening we went to dinner at On The Border
with our friends Laura and Brian and I found out that Steve & Barry's filed for Bankruptcy. It's a good thing I used that gift card earlier in the day. I definitely will be going back before there doors close for good.
